WHAT IS VISTA?
The VISTA Card Program is a purchase card program that gives Trinity Beamsville percentage of of the purchase price of the store cards that are available. Whew, that was a difficult sentence!
Basics… you purchase store cards for places you shop all of the time… grocery stores, gas stations etc. Trinity Beamsville receives a portion of that card, a very small percentage… 2% for example.
The cards are ordered once a month, we receive your payment by cash, cheque or e-transfer and the cards are ordered, received, sorted and then handed out. Ordering and handing out is done by the VISTA team on scheduled Sunday mornings.
The hardest part of purchasing cards from the VISTA Purchase Card program is remembering to hand the form in!
So we give you all the dates waaaayyyy ahead of time!
Dates Forms Due… April 1 May 6 June 3 October 7 November 4 December 2
Choose the cards for the places you always shop, think ahead for birthdays and holidays… You become a Shopping Guru and Trinity Beamsville receives a percentage.
From the 2017 Annual Report…
Thank You to everyone who participated in the Vista Program. An average of 20 families support the program. This year the program raised $2,092.57.
If you haven’t supported the Vista purchase card program, we encourage you to do so. Think about purchasing cards for groceries, gas, entertainment or a gift each month. Some people purchase cards for their groceries and gas each month.
Order forms are available any time; and are given out the last Sunday of each Month. On the first Sunday of each month the order is due. You can bring your cheque or cash and order form to worship on that Sunday and hand it in. OR… you can pay by Interac e-transfer. Cards can be picked up on the second Sunday or at the office after that. If you have any questions, feel free to talk with any of the Team members.
The Team… Alison Moore, Heather Brady, Marilyn Hay, Colleen Logan and Jan McLennan.
